Future Plans

I have spent most of my afternoon trying to decide what type of ship to focus on. I want to fly a ship that pretty to look at, which eliminates the Gallente and Minmatar ships; which are hideous imo. Being Amarr, I already fly these, and love their appearance. Caldari ships are pretty slick too, yet my first encounter with another player ship in pvp was a Rifter. I swiftly got stomped and trained Minmatar frigs to 4. I did not like the cannons and ammo though; so I am going to focus on the Amarr ships. Having Minmatar frigs trained is pretty helpful it turns out in my choice.

When I first joined New Eden, I saw a link to an Ashimmu; an amazingly beautiful and dangerous ship. I quickly trained the cruiser skills to fly it, building the funds to buy it and quickly realized after getting in the cockpit, I couldnt actually "fly" this wonderful ship with my lack of gunnery, support, and core skills. Plenty of time has passed since then and I can safely fly this ship with an acceptable fit. However, I dont have one as part of my assets anymore, being sold long ago, but I digress.

After looking more into the Blood Raider ships and lore, I found the Cruor and Bhalgorn as well. These guys apparently are a sect of extremist Amarrian pirates who believe that clones have "purer" blood than normal, explaining why they drain their enemies corpses dry of blood, in effect giving them their name; the Blood Raiders.

First, the Blood Raiders are Amarrian, not some corporate agnostic race like the Caldari. Second, taking technology from the enslaved Minmatar (lol at their "technology"), they enhanced Amarrian ships to drain capacitor as if it were the life force of their enemies (The Amarr Navy). In essence, capacitor *is* the life energy for Amarr ships. So it works out. Thrid, this factions ships are just beautiful looking. They are easily recognizeable and many people know how dangerous they can be if you see one on the horizon.

So I am going to focus my skills now towards enhancing these ships and what their roles are; draining cap, webbing and blowing ships up. The downside to this plan is that these ships are exspensive! 70 million minimum for the Cruor. Ashimmu's are roughly 150million, and I havent even looked at the pricing for the Bhaalgorn yet. At prices like these, I definately need to get better, quickly, at pvp. I will start by aquiring a couple Cruors and getting a fit for them that I like. Soon though, I will need to find a BPO for the Cruor and Ashimmu, or at least find out who to get the copies from.

On a side note, I have been debating with myself about leaving H.UNG and WI. I joined them as a miner and my focus in the world has changed. My chosen ship types dont mesh well with their fleets that go one when Im online (shield mostly) I feel I am not adding anything useful to the corp or the alliance right now. This has nothing to do with our losses or gains in the North, its just a personal observation of myself that I am considering. Also, the fact that "The Hatchery" honored the 1v1 fight I had, makes me interested in doing more against them.

web reaches out to 17km overheated, drops target's speed by 82.5%. In close with imperial navy multifreq it can do about 120dps. Seems like it'd butcher almost any frigate, as you could also easily fit scorch and hit at range.

  2. You get blood raider BPCs by running missions for blood raider agents, who are found in the NPC area of Delve.

As far as I'm aware, there are no faction BPOs.
